Government of Mozambique approved its first tourism master plan in 2006 and given the changes in the country over the past 8 years the Government wants to revise and renew the plan. As a first step towards such a revised plan the UNWTO and Mozambique Tourism Ministry appointed The Journey to conduct a scoping mission and to draft a comprehensive reference document towards a revised national tourism plan. The scoping document is based on inputs obtained during a two-week scoping mission followed by in-depth desk reseach and analysis. It includes an identification of key issues to be addressed, objectives, description of tasks, costs and job descriptions of a range of experts to be contracted
