Il Ngwesi Community Conservancy in Kenya and Grande Baie in Mauritius were part of UN Tourism's Best Tourism Villages Fast Track support programme and Mike Fabriicus was contracted by UN Tourism to fulfil the mentorship role. It included visits to the two candidate villages, local consultations and an objective assessment and recommendations for interventions to fulfil the Best Tourism Village criteria.
