National Tourism Master Plans for Botswana

Mike Fabricius was appointed by UN Tourism as Tourism Product Development and Marketing Expert as part of a team of consultants for developing the National Tourism Master Plan on behalf of the Government of Botswana, The national tourism Master Plan serves as an holistic, 10-year blueprint for strengthening the current tourism attractions and offering, while diversifying the destination through development of new Tourism Development Areas, products and markets.

The project entailed intensive fieldwork, stakeholder consultations, project design workshops and market research and the Master Plan includes a prioritised spatial guide plan with various product development concepts and a detailed marketing implementation plan.
