Uganda Tourism Policy Development

Ugaanda's Tourism Policy was outdated and required updating.  We facilitated awide rand of stakeholder workshops at national level and in all regions of Uganda and formulated a draft Tourism Policy.  This was validated with key stakeholders during a national validation workshop.  The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquties finalised the policy, for approval by the Cabinet in 2025.

Methods included a thorough study of all available planning documentation, analysis of statistics and research, workshops with wround 500 stakeholders and drawing on best practice tourism policies of successful destinations.

For the second time, we devised the Tourism Development Strategy on behalf of the City of Cape Town for the period 2024-2029 (the first engagement was for the period 2019-2023).  The TDF serves as an overall guiding framework for tourism development in one of the world's leading tourism cities.  Cape Town has won many accolades to support its positioning as the Most Beautiful City in the World.
